Angie Dent has given us a wonderful book of motivation in Food for the Soul: A Christian Experience. She shares encouraging words to help readers along the path of life. Angie assures readers that God is cheering us on and gives us the strength to continue until we have reached the desired results. Many times it seems that God has given us a dream, but then has taken it away. This book helps readers understand that life is a process and that God who gave us the dream is working all things together to fulfill the dream. She gives the most delightful illustration of not letting irritation destroy our joy by comparing our adventure to a wonderful spring picnic. Angie is a truly God-given encourager.
In Food for the Soul, Angie Dent encourages readers to see the invisible hand of God still working behind the scenes even when it feels like He has deserted us. As we walk the path of life, we are given dreams for the future. Sometimes it looks like those dreams will never be realized. Angie, in her sweet and kind way, encourages us not to give up. She explains how God is still working to bring about the right conclusion. If God promises, He always keeps His promises. Angie is a cheerleader. Her words are extremely encouraging and her writing is filled with enthusiasm. This book will lift your spirits and give you hope. I highly recommend you read this book and take courage for the future.
