Sheena Smith, author of Five Teaspoons of Motivation, has a style of writing that is personal and informative. The book itself is brief and contains within it a plethora of tips, advice, quotes, and exercises to help one’s own self become more than they are presently. Within these pages, she delves into her own personal life and how she has gotten to the point that she is currently at now, and what has helped her to get to where she is at.
I connected straight away with Five Teaspoons of Motivation by author Sheena Smith. Not only because I am consistently searching for ways of getting to a better me, but because you can feel her soul in the words. She in no way attempts to come off as someone who has it all together; she’s in the process right along with you. And truly, anyone worth their salt doesn’t come to a point in their life where they think, well, I’ve learned all I need and want to know, I’m done. There are many authors out there who will present themselves as though they have conquered life, and that their way of conquering life is the best and only way.
Sheena Smith has a delicate humbleness to her writing. She has achieved things and overcome difficulties in a way that puts you in awe of her, and not feeling as though you are inadequate compared to her journey, but that you are right where you are supposed to be on your specific path. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. If you are looking for a book that will motivate you, empower you, and help you to formulate a better version of you, this is the book you need.
