Final Accounting is author Linda Lovely's latest mystery book and it features a foxy lady named Nexi Ketts whose life is shrouded in mystery. Nexi is a forensic accountant who loves to catch cheating executives and she believes she has found one in Jamaica. But, before she can get her suitcases packed, she has a one-night stand which is potentially deadly. She then turns to a cop who is so sexy that Nexi goes against her better judgment and decides to allow Det. Barry Gerton to "protect" her. Nexi understands that secrets abound related to the death of her Uncle John and the disappearance of her parents. Nexi takes matters into her own hands, hoping to locate someone who can solve the mystery of her parents' disappearance. In the meantime, there is a contract out on Nexi's life and she tempts fate time and time again.
Those who have read Linda Lovely's previous books know she has a talent for story development and exciting characters. Final Accounting is no exception. Nexi is spunky and adorable and the character of the lead detective would give most women food for sexy dreams. There are sexual scenes to burn your socks off and the plot continues to the last page. Even though this book does not stand with the mystery giants in the industry, anyone wanting a good read will have multiple, ongoing visual experiences which will spice up the day!
