<p>This story spans three generations covering over eighty years. The story begins with the birth of Antor Caspardian. We come to know this complex man well. We experience his pain and triumph. He sacrificed much in the name of wealth.</p>
<p>I have read several books by Derek Adie Flower. Each time, I am amazed at his quiet style. He brings vast knowledge to his writings. Flower is more than familiar with the areas he focuses on. Farewell Alexandria is the story of Julius Caspar. This epic adventure scans three generations of the Caspar family. The setting begins with prewar Egypt and moves forward to the sixties and seventies, London, New York, and Paris. Farewell Alexandria highlights the flaws of humanity. Flower is a talented author that is capable of describing the many places where he has lived or visited. Derek Adie Flower just keeps getting better with each new book. Fans of epic dramas will quickly be swept away in Farewell Alexandria.</p>
