Fantasia An Adult Coloring Book: Of Fantasy & Mythology by Casey Gilmore is a collection of super fantastic thirteen characters from mythology. Included in the collection are Odin, dragons, angels, gargoyles, and more. The drawings are all on just one side of the page to ensure no bleed-through from another graphic behind it. The details in this book are astonishing; such beautiful drawings that I almost hate to color them in, but I will! These drawings were taken from the author's full length book to create a fun coloring book. The title reflects that it's a book full of fantasy waiting to be colored in. It reminds me of The Wizard of Oz where the film starts out in black and white and then turns into color when the imagination kicks in.
Fantasia An Adult Coloring Book: Of Fantasy & Mythology by Casey Gilmore is like walking into a fantasy world full of exciting and unusual creatures. New to the coloring world, I hadn't seen shaded drawings for coloring before, but I like the concept. The sheer artistry and shading of these drawings in Fantasia An Adult Coloring Book are remarkable and outstanding. The range of colors and imagination that you could apply to these creatures from mythology is unlimited as you could make them anything you want them to be - you're not limited to a preconceived notion. Any lover of medieval fantasy would love to get their hands on this coloring book.
