Family Redefined: Childhood Reflections on the Impact of Divorce is a much-needed book for those affected by broken marriages, both parents and children. At the end of each chapter, author Kimberly Ewertz provides keen insight and analysis pertaining to that particular case. With the help of counselors and experts in the field, Kimberly Ewertz deftly showcases several harmful byproducts of broken homes ranging from parental neglect and abuse to mental health issues such as bipolar disorder and depression that afflicts affected persons later on in their lives. The book also reiterates how important it is for children to have a positive role model in their lives, especially in the case of divorced parents, where it becomes harder for them to cope with the realities of life. Highly recommended.
