What is possibly the most rapidly growing religion on the planet might seem a little bit off the beaten path for most people and might cause a great deal of confusion as to what it is and from where Falun Gong originates. Falun Gong: The Force Is With Us by M.E. Brines is a concise guide defining those origins and beliefs and proposing that it might actually be more dangerous to the world than Al-Qaeda. Having commonalities with esoteric Nazism and linked to Buddhism and Taoism, this religion which was started in 1992 grew rapidly in the spiritual vacuum of communist China at such a rapid pace that it is the 5th largest religion on the planet and has more than 100 million members. A variation of the Jedi religion in Star Wars, it is rapidly spreading beyond the borders of communist China. What is the likely result of its further spread? Will it continue to grow at this rapid rate? Do we need to fear this phenomenon?
In Falun Gong: The Force Is With Us, there are several arguments laid out for the possibility that this religion could become more dangerous than Nazism and radical Islam. The staggering growth statistics and its popularity because of its Jedi-like tenets ought to be cause for concern. Informative, concise and scary, Falun Gong: The Force Is With Us is a warning cry for those who are completely unaware of its existence and an opportunity to understand what it is and where it came from.
