Amanda Feyerbend [Fire-bend] is a Georgia native who grew up and still lives just outside of Atlanta with her husband and two cats. She earned a BS in biology, a minor in film studies, and took quite a few criminal justice classes. Wanting to share her ideas with the world, she transformed her screenplay, Endless Evil, into a novel and published it February 2014. Since then, Amanda has written several novels and is currently at work on her next book.

Endless Evil (Alex Gray Book 1) by Amanda Feyerbend is a gripping murder mystery. Bodies are beginning to pile up at the side of the road in a small quiet Georgia county as women are left raped and strangled. Detective Alex Gray does not assume that they are related until one woman survives. Megan Crawford was left for dead on the side of the highway, but manages to survive the ordeal. A check into her background reveals that she may have been an accomplice in a series of rapes a few years earlier and she immediately comes under suspicion. She won’t go away though, although Alex keeps trying to make her. Is she trying to help or is she playing a part to lead the detective astray? No leads and no evidence means that Alex Gray has a tough job on his hands trying to stop the body count rising even further.
I thoroughly enjoyed Endless Evil (Alex Gray Book 1) by Amanda Feyerbend. The story was well developed and written in such a way to keep you turning the pages. The characters were highly believable and fitted the story very well, and it was helpful to have some of their past history detailed as well. I hope that there will be a sequel to this as it showed great promise to be a full series of books. It would also work well as a TV film on its own or as a TV detective series. Great work, looking forward to the next one.
