She thought Elizabeth was old enough to go out with her brothers and help them gather food. Elizabeth was thrilled and she was the first one to run out of the house. Elizabeth had never seen the forest this close before. When she got back home, her mother realized that Elizabeth had discovered and picked up unusual stuff for the home and it was not berries, nuts, and seeds. What was it?
