Language is beautiful because it's connected to culture, creates connections, and builds unity through expression. There are several languages that I love to hear due to their rhythmic, harmonic sounds like French, Italian, Spanish, and Hindi. These languages are also much simpler in comparison with the English language, which is said to have too many phrases for the same or similar words when translating. Let your child explore and discover the beauty of Hindi in this wonderful picture book, Ek Naya Din: A New Day - A Hindi English Bilingual Picture Book For Children to Develop Conversational Language Skills by Anuja Mohla, with beautiful illustrations by Noor Alshalabi. Children will learn a lot about the Hindi culture from this book, beginning with the Devanagari Script, which I see as an intriguing art form. As your children read this book, they not only embrace the language but can see the final results in English. The author goes deeper by breaking down words about colors, time, and opposites that will open up your child's world.
I enjoyed reading Ek Naya Din by Anuja Mohla. While I do not know all of the aspects of this language, to hear its beauty resonates with me. During my different types of meditation, including OSHO or when listening to Hindi music, it provides a vibration of calm and harmony. Young children are like sponges and can learn many things to enable them to incorporate inclusivity into their future. Let's provide tools for them to welcome and accept those that are different by learning about their language, culture, and ways of life. Namaste. Get your copy today.
