Dream of Dreams by Elton Thomas begins with an account of his life, specifically referring to his dreams. Often, his dreams seemed to become memories, and memories became dreams that helped to bring profound meaning to specific events in his life. He would ponder how Jesse, his deceased younger brother, would be today without him in the picture. One day in 1986 Elton went biking. Despite a warning by his mother not to get on the bike, Jesse did. When Elton stopped, Jesse flew off the bike and suffered a serious head injury, which caused severe motor function limitations, blindness, and other injuries. Elton was haunted for years, living the raw truth of the accident. He always dreamed about what life would be like if tragedies, hardships, and blindness did not exist in his and his brother’s lives. After Jesse’s passing in July of 2013, Elton received a dream gift from Jesse that lifted his burden of guilt. In life, Jesse had limitless love and compassion for others. In a dream, Jesse told Elton: “Go forth, and share this experience as if it were a dream...”

Elton realized that connecting with Jesse through that dream made it clear how Jesse’s response was a sign of peace and that he would only find true peace when he learned how to conquer fear and dispel his guilt. Elton Thomas's writing style is clear and compact and is a true reflection of his belief in soul connections. He felt a peace he had not known before and a level of profound insight came into his life. The book can also give clarity on the interpretation of dreams and their effects on our spiritual life. Dream of Dreams offers the reader who wants to know more about the methods of spiritual communication a greater understanding of the subject. Elton truly believes that dreams can help us cope and better understand our interior and exterior world. This book shows the reader how to embrace the spiritual side and how firm belief can deliver peace and relief. It is a short and illuminating read that shows the intense spiritual connection possible through dreams.
