Do Bugs Wear Shoes & Other Silly Questions by Addie Broussard and Anthony Puttee is a wonderful and enlightening book that educates the young reader about bugs, their families, insect categories and their places in the world. This educational book has much more than silly questions; it also contains facts about many kinds of species of bugs that exist globally. The questions and answers on every page will definitely teach the young reader something brand new and interesting about what is and is not a bug, what purpose the insect serves, as well as ongoing research that will tell us more about the possible emotions and intelligence of bugs and insects.
Do Bugs Wear Shoes & Other Silly Questions is a wonderful addition to the educational section of any home, school and library because there is something fun and new for anyone to learn on every single page. The layout is that of a science book which makes the entire book appear very professionally developed. I love the odd and interesting facts as well as the silly questions and humorous comments that fill the pages with educational concepts about how and why a bug is classified as a specific category of species and how their unique appearance serves them in the wild. I recommend this book to anyone who likes to learn more about the world of bugs and insects as well as to anyone who may be teaching a science class with a focus on habitats and insects.
