However, her plan does not work the way she had hoped; on the contrary, George begins acting distant.
Throughout Diary of a Christian Woman: How I Used 50 Shades of Grey To Spice Up My Marriage, Rebecca's humorous style of writing is enough to keep the reader giggling and smiling. She has researched various norms of married life quite closely, and her research is evident in the book. The elaborate description of the nervousness of a respectable lady in entering a shop to buy sex toys, the dilemma of a Christian woman in exploring her sexual desires, and a wife's increased problems when her husband is unwilling to talk about their intimate issues has enhanced the overall plot of the book. The addition of a parent's difficulties in finding the perfect moment to have intercourse is the icing on the cake.
