The plot moves in unexpected ways, featuring characters you find yourself cheering for in a non-stop, action-packed narrative. Despite the extraordinary circumstances they find themselves in, the characters feel grounded and easy to relate to. Apart from Dell, a sizable number of side characters also make you invest in their storylines, particularly the likes of Agent Maddis, Pan, Coogan, and Dell's adopted family. M.L. Biddison uses vivid descriptions in the action scenes, painting images in your head that bring a sense of realism to the narrative.
