A serial killer dubbed the “Birthday Boy” is terrorizing the unsuspecting citizens of Hanson, British Columbia. The sadistic murderer chooses to target only women on their birthdays, but why? Hanson Detective Jack Staal is determined to get to him. But, Stall is carrying around some pretty heavy baggage of his own. Staal must use every ounce of his skill to determine the Birthday Boy’s true identity and bring an end to his brutal killing spree...of course, that is if he can avoid becoming a victim himself.
"Dead of Knight" is a very well written book. The author has put together excellent dialog, along with outstanding characterization. The reader is quickly drawn into the story, the troubled mind of a killer, the suffering and horror of the victims and the purpose and resolve of the police. My one concern was that the author introduces a large group of characters, which for me was a little confusing at times. Overall, with taut, riveting action and a fast moving storyline, this is a sure fire mystery thriller...Well done.
