Amanda Lloyd was born in Suffolk England in 1962. She moved to Leicestershire at the age of four and was raised on her family farm, were she found her love of working with, and painting animals. She was raised working with cattle, sheep, horses, goats, chickens, pigs and dogs. But her one passion came from Fantasy when she was introduced to the world of Pern by Anne McCaffrey and J R R Tolkien's books the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. In the early 80's she was introduced to Dungeons and Dragons and Karate. In 1988 she moved to Norfolk England and Married, adding Jennings to her name. She has worked in factories for numerous years, has been a carer for four years and now returns to poultry farming and lives still in Norfolk England with her husband and two wonderful grown-up twin daughters.

Dawn of the Awakening: Demon's Bite (White Witch, Dark Demon Book 1) is written by Amanda Lloyd Jennings and Samantha Jennings. It was going to be a special and joyous day for Jamie and his family, for it was his youngest sister's 10th birthday. This was the day that would mark the beginning of Trudy's adulthood and a surprise celebration befitting the occasion had been organised. However, the day rapidly turned horrific when Trudy was kidnapped in a progression of terrifying events involving mysterious assailants and a mythical size beast. In the wake of the dreadful events, Jamie's father called upon a trusted friend for help and soon Jamie discovered some shocking truths about his family. As another trusted ally is called in to help track the assailants, Jamie witnesses what was going to be the first of many profound revelations that were to come his way as he learns the truth behind stories that he had always considered mere childhood myths. Jamie also learns about the mighty war fought close to three millennia ago by man and his allies against the demons. Now all indications pointed to the fact that hellhounds had found another passage into the world of the living, and those that knew the history were very troubled by this.
Dawn of the Awakening: Demon's Bite (White Witch, Dark Demon Book 1) by Amanda Lloyd Jennings and Samantha Jennings is the first part of what is definitely going to be a hit series. This story of power, greed and the never-ending war between darkness and light combines all elements of an extraordinary tale, including a dose of good old fashioned battle action, all delivered in flawless style. Each new chapter added more intrigue to the story as more and more compelling characters were introduced, each coming in to add yet another layer of depth and mystery to the plot. Dawn of the Awakening: Demon's Bite is a one of a kind tale and I cannot wait to see where the next part of the book takes us on this mysterious journey. The authors also introduced several intriguing new story lines within the plot and I am very eager to see how they unfold in the next book. Fans of good fantasy mysteries will definitely love this one.
