Constellation by Deborah Adams and Kimberley Perkins is Book 2 of the Waypoint Series. They couldn’t restore the power at Waypoint and the darkness just gets deeper. Simon has been arrested and now he needs to escape if they have any hope of succeeding at their mission. To try to get him out, West, Alex, and Riya are working with an alleged terrorist organization called Kaosa but nobody is really sure who can be trusted. Quinn thinks he knows where President Camden is – could finding him mean they turn a corner in the war? Battles against enemies old and new ensue and the hunt is on once more but can the gang really end the blackout? Will their strength last that long or will they just become the next victims?
Constellation: Waypoint Series Book 2 by Deborah Adams and Kimberley Perkins is a great sequel to Waypoint. A bit slower than the first one, it still has plenty of action to keep you entertained and enthralled as you continue to follow the gang on their quest to restore power. The character development deepens and we learn a lot more about what drives the main characters and who they are. The suspense builds nicely, a continuation from Book 1, and the plot just gets better and better. This is an adventure waiting to be lived and a fabulous finale – I do hope we see more of these characters in another book though. The frightening thing about this series is that it could all too easily happen at any moment and none of us knows how we would cope. You will run through every emotion known to man, you’ll be on the edge of your seat as the story races to its nail-biting ending, and you’ll be both glad when it’s over and sad that it's finished - or has it?
