Gary Patterson offers readers a hilarious look at the life of a cat. I have a feline wonder and can relate to every page of this book. Most dog owners will not understand the humor. A dog owner owns a dog but a cat owner is slave to a cat.
My feline owner, Amelia, started life as a tiny little thing that could sit in the palm of my hand. Four years later, I struggle to pick her up. She now weighs over sixteen pounds. She assures me that she is not overweight; her hair is thick and heavy. She’s loves to nap and does so frequently. Her meow is very quiet and rarely heard. To get my attention, she nips at the back of my heels. While she is no longer a kitten, she still adores hiding in paper bags.
Fans will recognize and delight in the art work of Gary Patterson, cartoonist. This tiny book would make a great gift for the cat lover in your life. The book is well made and there is a place inside the cover for a note and date.
