Her first E-book, "Cars Are For Driving," was written to draw attention to the fact that young children can be made aware of and learn about driving a car safely, even though they are not currently driving. She feels strongly that this early awareness will help lay the foundation toward a "safe-driving" mindset for drivers of the future.

Cars Are For Driving by Wilma Fleming is a short children's book which introduces young readers to the concepts of driving a motor vehicle and motor vehicle safety information. Children are naturally drawn to the concept of driving a vehicle as most will come into contact with a toy car, truck, or train by the age of one. As parents/guardians of these children, we often teach them how to play with and move the vehicles, and share with them that one day they may be able to drive one themselves. What most parents/guardians fail to relay to their children are the facts about vehicle safety.
Author Wilma Fleming has composed a short, neat, easily read book, filled with facts and photographs for young readers to gain knowledge of the safety aspects of driving a vehicle. For example: the author states that using your cell phone while driving is dangerous and could lead to an accident. Vehicles such as fire trucks, police cars, and ambulances are used to help during an accident. Stress is put upon the simple fact of "Cars are for driving not crashing." Helping children understand the importance of learning proper driver safety techniques and rules will allow for a safer and calmer driving environment for future generations. Wilma Fleming has written a charming short story to convey the importance of driving safely. The targeted audience is young readers, but the book can be read by all ages.
