Brief Encounters with Solitary Souls: Two Paris Tales + Three by Evy Journey is a short story about life’s adventure. In Brief Encounters with Solitary Souls, you will travel through the lives of five people and be transported from California and Honolulu to Paris. Brief Encounters with Solitary Souls is about love, adventure, intrigue, compassion and innocence. Each of us has a path that is our own, our path becomes our reality; it transcends to who we are. In Brief Encounters with Solitary Souls, you will meet a few characters from the gypsy sitting on the church stairs, and Ryan's encounters of love while in Paris, to Dylan and the black notebook. To set the mood of each story there are beautiful, colorful photos for the reader to enjoy.
Reading Brief Encounters with Solitary Souls and seeing the photos at the beginning of each story was a nice touch. I enjoyed reading each of the stories from At A Paris Cafe and The Gypsy to In A Few Fast Heartbeats - each resonated a pulse if its own. The stories in Brief Encounters with Solitary Souls - just like life - stand on their own.
