BreakProof: 7 Strategies to Build Resilience and Achieve Your Life Goals (How to Reach Your Life Goals) by Jenn Drummond is a non-fiction self-help book. Jenn is a world record holder for climbing the Seven Summit Mountains. She uses her mountaineering stories as an analogy to explain the seven strategies, such as how to commit and find the right support. The author also gives takeaways and exercises to help you.
BreakProof is awe-inspiring. I loved how Jenn used her climbing stories as an analogy for the strategies, and how detailed she was, and I wished there were more stories of the mountains. I loved what Jenn Drummond said about detours. I had an 'aha' moment thanks to that. I was really happy when she mentioned using therapy; it was refreshing. I loved that she mentioned having a cause and that one of hers was helping girls in Kenya by giving them personal supplies. I remembered reading about that once and it was cool to see how she got the idea. I thank her for doing that. I loved the exercises Jenn gave; they were quite helpful. I loved how she had takeaways after each chapter too. I liked how she mentioned having a podcast, but she wasn't spammy about it like most people are. This is a wonderful book for people who want to start a business or already have a business. I love how motivating Jenn is. If you need help finding goals for a business or your life, this book is a must-read.
