Blessed and Beautiful is a children's picture book written by Tayo Oshaye with illustrations by Yana Popova. It teaches valuable lessons based on the first and the hundred and twenty-first chapters of the book of Psalms. It celebrates nature, individuality, and the divine protection and grace of God. The story revolves around five trees - Firi Firtree, Pinely Pine, Larry Cedar, Oaklan Oak, and Juniper Broomley - who reside in Edenwild Forest in a faraway land. Larry is the most majestic tree, and all the animals prefer him, which makes Pinely envious as a Nature talent show is coming up. However, Pinely learns to focus on his own strengths and unique abilities, which helps him feel more confident. After the talent show, a tragedy strikes and wreaks havoc in Edenwild, teaching the trees that beauty can arise from adversity, and that we must always thank God for everything.
