Between the Page by E.C. Fisher is a Collection of Three Short Horror Stories. Open the cover and step into a spine-tingling creepy world. Thomas Douglas loves rare and interesting books. Going into his favorite bookstore one day, he finds a strange book with no writing in it – until he cuts himself on a page. Then the words appear and the dreams begin. Murder and shadows abound but who or what is responsible? A small plane crashes on a deserted island and the survivors make their way inland to find a way of contacting the outside world. What they find doesn’t bear thinking about and soon they are on the run, hunted by strange, hungry creatures. Can anyone survive? A trip to summer camp ends in tragedy; years later, revenge must be had and bodies start to pile up every time the rain falls. Is the murderer real or something seeking revenge from the past?
Between the Page by E.C. Fisher is a scary collection of short stories that will send chills down your spine. Each story is completely different from the next, each story will spook a reader in different ways. All of the stories are well-written with good plots. They flow well and each draws you in right from the first page, offering plenty of action and a good pace. My favorite one was The Rain, a story that covers bullying and the need for revenge. The descriptive nature of the story left me with real chills and reminded me of a couple of paranormal films I’ve seen. I loved this collection; a must-read for any horror fan.
