Could Anthym be the boy prophesied to aid in the salvation of the city of Moonlight in the country of Ouorka? Before coming to Anthym, Kye and his team had almost rounded up every child Anthym's age in the whole country of Ouorka to investigate their lineage. The Blue Hills Guard soldier Kye is ready to give the 14-year-old boy over to his leader now that he has been located, even though he is unsure of what would happen to the youngster thereafter. Following that, Kye, Anthym, and other extraordinary people go across dangerous and beautiful places filled with powerful beasts and life-threatening obstacles to preserve a magical city from destruction. Victoria Bastedo creates a stunning, captivating narrative of exhilarating magic, spine-chilling peril, and charming but incredibly skillful and powerful heroes in Anthym Quest.
I enjoy fantasy novels because they help me envision new possibilities and fill my head with thrilling visions and universes. This is exactly what Anthym Quest accomplishes, with its unusual creatures you can ride on the water like horses and mythical people with sparkling gold locks that live longer and are more competent than humans. I adored the selfless and brave heroes that strive to preserve a city in the face of impossible obstacles, such as facing monsters that can create "a Mammoth wave" to rise and slam its victim downward before driving them underwater. The world's details are just amazing. Fantasy readers will like Victoria's novel, which, in addition to being a fascinating narrative, imparts themes about the need to make sacrifices to save one's planet. Victoria Bastedo struck gold with this mind-blowing fantasy!
