Anthony Quinn Warner: The Batman Building Bomber, Nashville Tennessee by Everett Watson is a slim and interesting book that examines the bombing that took place on December 25, 2020, in Nashville. In this book, the author shares the fruits of an investigation into the character and nature of the perpetrator, offering answers to some important questions: Why did he commit the crime, and was it suicide? In this book, the author shares some aspects of Anthony Quinn’s life, including his family background, his work as an IT specialist, his relationships, and more. Most importantly, the book attempts to provide the motive for the heinous act by looking at what made Anthony Quinn Warner tick.
This is a book that is quick to read, and I loved the fact that the author does not dwell much on lengthy details. He writes about what is essential and then allows the reader to make the judgment. The personality of Anthony Quinn Warner is well explored in this non-fiction book and the images that accompany the writing corroborate the story in a brilliant manner. While the world is still reeling from the pandemic and the people of Nashville trying to lighten the experience with Christmas festivities, Anthony Quinn Warner loads his RV with incendiary devices and listens to Petula Clark. Looking on the surface, you might believe that he committed suicide for Lisa Swing. But there is more to the story. While the prose in Anthony Quinn Warner: The Batman Building Bomber, Nashville Tennessee is not stellar, the story provides answers that readers will find interesting. It is a book worth reading for anyone who is interested in crime and, especially, what happened in Nashville on December 25, 2020. It is well-researched and delivered in writing that is accessible.
