Angel's Collar by Anna Hague is a sizzling romance with an unusual twist, a novel with a strong appeal to fans of Fifty Shades of Grey. The narrative, told in a first person voice that is enthralling, begins with a dramatic incident. Emma has just spilled wine onto someone she finds very handsome. And instead of him being angry, he tells her she should have just asked him out instead of taking so many pains: “The massive red wine stain all over the front of a pure white shirt on a rock hard chest glared like a traffic light. As my gaze traveled up and up, his face, in addition to being a visual perfection, appeared rather amused.” What follows is an unusual romance with a dominant, but can Emma keep up with the control and the demands of what she is going in for?
Anna Hague takes readers on a sizzling romantic ride, evoking feelings and exploring hidden depths of the heart of her protagonist. Emma has no idea of what being a dominant and a submissive is about and when her new love tells her about this concept, she gets excited about the idea. But is she sculpted with that kind of personality? Most unlikely, because she has a strong personality and is the kind of person who likes to be in control. A tale of romance in which two strong wills clash, so can it last long? Wonderful prose with exciting characters and a plot that is exciting, with readers not knowing where the story goes. Angel's Collar is steamy and sizzling, emotionally intense and filled with entertainment.
