Author Biography

Award-winning author Scott A. Borgman was born in Robinsdale, MN. in 1975. Currently he resides in central Wisconsin with his wife, their three teenage children (*GULP!*), 2 rescued cats, and their bed-hogging dog who is all kisses and cuddles - and who steals his spot in bed on a nightly basis.

Scott writes in several different genres: High Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, and Paranormal Romance. While each is distinct in its own way, there's one thing you'll find within his books that they all share in common: Strong, compelling female characters in the leading roles. It's kind of his thing.

"As an author, I breathe life into each and every character within the stories that I write. But it is the reader who gives them their souls." --Scott A. Borgman

Angel: The Mithista Incident by Scott Borgman holds great promise for a series with characters that readers will enjoy. Meet Dani Taylor, a normal twenty-three-year-old girl who enjoys partying when she is not at her job. But after a night out with her best friends, a simple headache leaves her with a burning image, vividly imprinted on her mind. But this isn’t just an image, it is a memory, one she wishes had never returned. But now she has to deal with an alien who is all out to get her and a shady organization that won’t let her live. The question is: Why has this memory been repressed and what is it about Dani that suddenly makes her a threat to powerful people, including aliens? The answer will blow your mind, but you’ll have to find it out!

Scott Borgman’s heroine is well-imagined and executed with the skills of a master. I loved her as a woman and how she develops to understand herself and her ultimate calling. Her immediate reaction to the abnormal occurrences around her is just natural, but she slowly evolves from merely living with a survival instinct to embracing herself. Val and Chris are great characters too and readers will love the role they play in the plot and in character development. Angel: The Mithista Incident is written in beautiful, excellent prose and the reader will be absorbed by the wonderful, intense action that is described with great clarity and vividness. The dialogues come off naturally and they are both entertaining and plot-driven. A beautiful story beautifully told; its entertainment value is intoxicating and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
