Angel and Joe and Their Two Dogs by Debra Christensen is a fun picture book for young children. Brothers Angel and Joe and their dogs Skye and Magoo head outside to play in the garden. The boys play with their football, and Skye and Magoo join in too, almost puncturing it with their sharp teeth! As the weather changes, the brothers go back inside and enjoy a delicious breakfast cooked by their mother. With the rest of the day ahead of them, I wonder what other fun activities they will get up to. Grab a copy to find out.
Angel and Joe and Their Two Dogs is an enjoyable story about two brothers who enjoy playing together, along with their chihuahuas. The story is simply about having fun, regardless of the weather, because all you need to have a good time is family and friends, or both. Young children will enjoy reading Debra Christensen's book as it highlights the entertaining adventures you can have at home. This may even spark creativity in them to come up with new ideas. The illustrations are colorful and bright and bring the characters to life. If you are looking for a book to read at bedtime or to simply pass the time during bleak weather, then this will be the perfect fit. I enjoyed every page of Debra's wonderful book and I hope to see more from her soon. Children will love this one!
