He had no intention of leaving New Jersey until he was rich, then he would get his children back, and resolve his problems once and for all. He could live the life he was destined for. Or so were his plans. Beside him stands Danusha, a woman twenty-five years his senior, and the one he loves. Fate has a few tricks left in store, and Tony must rise to the challenge whilst trying not to lose sight of his own dream. Follow his journey in Jason Hill's American Hill: The Social Hill Series Vol 3.
Jason Hill has a fondness for metaphors, some of which cast bizarre and often humorous images that will more often than not put a smile on your face. The book is written with a very unique style of narrative, one that at times invites the reader to contemplate something, for example: "I'd like the reader here to really get a sense of... " Such a direct plea to the reader forces them to feel personally addressed and invites a more intimate experience. Throughout the dialogue-driven plot you start to build a really clear impression of the characters, their experiences, personalities, and histories, as well as their environment and circumstances. American Hill: The Social Hill Series Volume 3, is very character focused, and will appeal to readers who enjoy a familiar style of writing, as if the character is expressing themselves directly to readers. Whilst it is volume 3 in the series, I experienced no difficulties following this story.
