I pride myself on my ability to look at things with an open mind. I suspected this ability might be tested with a book titled Aliens and the Antichrist. But I was intrigued as to how these two subjects might be connected, and I have always been curious, so I picked up a copy of Aliens and the Antichrist by John W. Milor. The subtitle is Unveiling the End Times Deception so I was poised to get a good dose of conspiracy theory. The conspiracy is there, but that is not my big takeaway from Aliens and the Antichrist. The biggest revelation is that John W. Milor is quite the writer and researcher. He ties these two seemingly totally unrelated subjects together in a scholarly and entertaining manner. It probably isn't for everyone, but I enjoyed it.
John Milor knows his Bible and he has a very methodical way of connecting it to what he terms The Startrek Version of Reality. There is a ten-page appendix with biblical references used and, at 250 pages, Aliens and the Antichrist is more than just a thinly sketched out theory. It is a seriously researched, well thought out theory that is organized and very well written. It’s brilliant and is definitely something interesting to read and think about. Many Christians spend a lot of time and thought trying to reconcile their religious beliefs with the modern scientific world. Reading Aliens and the Antichrist might be a good step toward this reconciliation. At the very least, it’s something interesting to consider.
