Aisha the Navigator: Trains a Leader #1 by Amir Makin is a very well thought out and well written story geared to a younger audience. Aisha the Navigator sends a powerful and positive message about believing in yourself, which young children will easily understand. Children of all ages can relate to the idea of feeling self-conscious and unsure of oneself. Parents will thoroughly enjoy reading this tale and discussing its powerful lessons with their children. I believe that Aisha the Navigator can be a valuable teaching tool throughout a child's developmental years. Aisha the Navigator has beautiful illustrations in vivid colors that will really appeal to young children. The story is brief enough to maintain the short attention span of younger readers while descriptive enough to interest the adults who may be reading it to the younger generation.
