A Little Elf Saves Christmas: Tales From Grandpa Joe, 6 is written and illustrated by Tammy Lempert. Eddie the Hedgehog is upset. He feels like no one listens to him because he is so small and young. Grandpa Joe decides to tell Eddie a story about Christmas. Santa and his reindeer are set to take off on the sleigh and deliver presents all over the world. With everything good to go, the only thing left to do is sprinkle the flying dust, but no one seems to know where it is. What will Santa and the reindeer do if they can’t fly around the world? Will they find the dust in time to save Christmas? Will Grandpa Joe’s story help Eddie feel better about his problems?
A Little Elf Saves Christmas is an adorable story that will encourage children to believe in themselves even when they don’t feel that others believe in them. I absolutely love the story time with Grandpa setting that kids will enjoy and easily identify with. The plot and the setting make this the perfect time of year for kids to discover a brand-new favorite Christmas story that they can read over and over again. The illustrations are beautiful and will keep kids immersed in the story as they read along. I recommend A Little Elf Saves Christmas by Tammy Lempert to youngsters who love an adventurous Christmas story that they can learn important life lessons from. I hope that Lempert has many more stories like this one to inspire and educate kids.
