A Feast for Pleasant Beasts is a charming children’s picture book written by J.T. Bird with illustrations by Andy Catling. This wondrous story invites readers into the magical world of Cuthbert Wormhill and his friends. Cuthbert is a young boy who lives alone on an island surrounded by animals and critters that keep him company. Cuthbert is a magnificent pastry chef and each year he hosts a picnic that is attended by all types of creatures; from monsters to cyclops and more. While the beasts may not look or smell very nice, each of them is kind and happy to contribute their own unique treats and talents to the joyous annual picnic. Colorful and playful illustrations capture the delight and whimsy of this book.
