A.G. Billig's 5 Easy Steps to Ending A Toxic Relationship: Unplug The Negativity Cord and Jump-Start Your Emotional Healing looks at the toxic relationships the author experienced in her life once her father passed away. This book guides readers to free themselves from relationships that no longer serve them and find the true love that is meant for them. A toxic partner always has an agenda and it is never too late to break free from those situations. The book will help readers look at the relationship they have with their own self because the toxicity in the relationship indirectly points towards the level of toxicity that is in the relationship with self. It is a book about healing, self-esteem, self-love, assertiveness, and self-worth, and putting a stop to control and dominance.
This book is an eyeopener to many readers who may be in situations and relationships with partners listed as toxic by the author and will help them make choices to move forward in life by getting rid of negativity and toxicity. The toxicity checklist is useful to determine the type of emotions that are felt when in a relationship. The five anchors that must be cut to restart emotional healing are also helpful to readers in taking the first step of becoming aware of the relationships they are in. It is a good book to help readers examine the relationships they are in and evaluate them. The author's personal experiences help readers connect with her words. The checklists - the pattern checklist and the ideal partner checklist - are very useful to unplug the negativity cord and see things clearly and make the right decisions.
