Vadoma looked at Alec solemnly and told him he would live a long, extraordinary life. Of course, Alec did not believe in fortune tellers. His resilience and determination will be witnessed when he goes on a survival mission with Byron. Geoffrey Charlton-Perrin's 2121: The Battle for Survival Begins is a meticulously written book. The year is 2121, and chaos reigns supreme on Earth. The mega powers have swallowed most small nations. Alec had been practicing with his air pistol, which by the standards of the time was considered almost a toy, when the Renegade Lords abducted him. President Blalock intends to hand over Greater Britain to Mega Russia. Will Jermaine, Alec, and the Jacobins manage to save their beloved country?
Geoffrey Charlton-Perrin's 2121: The Battle for Survival Begins is a page-turner. The book is entertaining and causes the reader to think about technology and how it might impact the human population and development in the future. I loved the character development and plot, which are flawless. The reader will also be captured by how Geoffrey has vividly described the events. This will help the reader create a visual of what’s happening. Another admirable quality of the book is the easy-to-understand language, which doesn't create any chances of the reader becoming confused. An amazing book! I can't wait to read something else from Geoffrey Charlton-Perrin.
