Let's find out who the other women are whose contributions in the arts have challenged stereotypes and overcome barriers. The book gives fascinating facts, interesting biographical details and wonderful pictures of these 12 women that will encourage readers to pursue the arts and take these to another level where their aesthetics and creativity will be appreciated.
Brianna L. All the titles in this series are about women achievers in various fields and their contributions in a field previously dominated by men. It is a good collection for school and public libraries, and personal collections in homes. Books like this give young readers knowledge in an entertaining way and introduce them to women whose lasting contributions in various fields have left an indelible mark on the world.
