Dale R Horton's collection, 109 Positive Poems and Quotes, is created to give the reader that necessary boost when they are feeling particularly low. Within its pages are many quotes and poems that speak positively to the reader. The subject matter varies from perseverance to achieving goals and building confidence within yourself. It’s a pick me up for anyone who is having a rough time.
I never thought that I could find so many positive and uplifting poems in one place, but I was wrong. I started reading this collection on a day when I was feeling not so great and it completely turned my mood around for the better. The poems are beautifully written and simple, which makes them relatable to everyone.
Every single person has felt lost or hopeless or sad at some point in their lives, and 109 Positive Poems and Quotes is just the trick to turn that negativity into something good and uplifting. There are a few poems and quotes that I found especially empowering to read. Hurdled, The Best Of Life, What You Deserve, Positive Road, Stay Up, The Doctrine Of Miniature Things, and Cherish Mental Health are some of my favorites because they spoke to me on another level. Overall, I felt that Dale R Horton has done a brilliant job with this collection. In times like these with the covid pandemic still a threat to many and social distancing sadly the new norm, we could use as much positivity as possible to lift us up in these trying times. I can’t wait to see what the author writes next.
