Chad Von Dette's 101 Ways To Win A Fight (Basic to Bone Breaking) is an excellent self-defense book where readers learn about the techniques, skills, and tricks that can be used. The concentration of techniques and self-defense efforts that spotlight the many areas of the human body - such as eyes, ears, and groin - are both helpful and useful to readers who are interested in self-defense. The 101 ways to win a fight are listed with explanations and illustrations and that makes it palpable to readers. There are many ways to end a fight and once readers learn the specific areas of the body which can cause immense pain, they will succeed in making an opponent's size and strength less daunting.
The topic is fresh and that makes the book interesting. The illustrations make the techniques and the author's words clear and easy to comprehend. The effective strategies and techniques along with the illustrations make self-defense look easy but, as the author suggests, it will take time to become proficient. The author's experience of 30 years with fighting and self-defense and his Hall of Fame induction in 2014 means readers will connect easily with his words, strategies, and techniques. Reading this book will help readers visualize the various scenarios and methods of fighting they can employ to improve their fighting and enable them to have a game plan, just like in sports. This book will appeal to all types of readers because of the entertaining manner in which the author has tackled the topic and the illustrations that give clarity to his techniques.
