At its heart, this book is about an ordinary man, Yuri, and his extraordinary quest, all while accompanied by his loyal pig. Yuri's character is brilliantly crafted, presenting a simple peasant who cares little for the political turmoil surrounding him. He is content with his life of tilling soil and tending to his animals until a burdensome tax forces him to take action. What follows is an epic adventure that challenges his beliefs and opens his eyes to the world beyond his village.
