Leonard Gigliobianco has put together this book of his poems, "Your Words", which are short and varied poems which tell of his experiences in life. Some share his travels to Mount Rainer, on as page 21, 'Labrador' or page 43, or just his reflections upon life and death. None of the poems has an established meter, no iambic pentameter here, and all are written in free verse. 'Patria' on page 54 has Greek gods and goddesses speaking and the last poem, 'Fractional Lines' calls for four voices in an intended recital. However, Gigliogiano's poems have a cadence that speaks of his ability to write poetry. Who would not be entranced by 'Suburban Bucolic' on page 29? Daffodils converse with tension wires

and mums glow in our language.
Our brains grow eclipses. Thoughts slink up
and down stairs.

"Your Words" is a collection of sophisticated poems that call to mind the poetic writing style of Lawrence Frelinghetti. The reader who loves the pictorial verses of William Wordsworth will have trouble understanding Mr. Gigliobiano's sophisticated, somewhat mystic craft.
However, the true fan of poetic writings will savor this little book of exquisite poetic offerings. "Your Words" makes highly worthwhile the reader's slow gleaning of each poem, over and over again. On page 43, in reading 'The Haskaupi River, Labrador', enchantment pours forth:

The river, shines, we enter.
Above, suns flash. Moose, a mother and
calf prey upon shrubs.
