You are taken back to the 1800s when the world was divided between high society and strict protocols and the lower side of society with many members struggling every day just to survive. A misguided young Lady Adele Saltisford sets out to aid her brother, the Marquess of Sundenbury, heir to the Duke of Linross at any cost, such is her devotion to her family. This brings her to the attention of Dominic Winters, lord of London's East End underworld and one of the most dangerous men in the city; not a man to whom a respectable young lady should be connected! Enjoy this drama and learn just how deceitful both sides of society can be to get want they want, but how true love can overcome any obstacle.

Whilst being part of The Wicked Winters series, Winter's Wallflower by Scarlett Scott is written in a style that can easily be enjoyed as a standalone book but at the same time encourages you to be a follower of the series. The scenes and events are brought to life by vivid and well-imagined actions undertaken by each character throughout the plot. You grasp clearly the dangers and consequences of each decision made and how much deeper in trouble it draws them. As each character is introduced and described, you are brought closer into their world and can imagine how difficult life could be, no matter on which side of society you found yourself. A book with enough action, drama, twists, and turns to make the most avid fan of this period and genre happy and wanting more.
