Willow, Weep No More, published by Tenebris Books, will leave you mesmerised with this collection of fairy tales written by selected authors. Have you ever wondered why the willow weeps, or why there is a man on the moon? Do you know how the moon was made, or how she got her shimmering glow? Follow Froska and her sons, a family of trolls, on an interesting mission into the forest to search for Skallvard, her missing husband. Why not visit with Aibhlin, the beautiful girl born with wings who is teased by her peers for looking different. See what happens to Anastasya, a girl so concerned with her beauty and unkind to others that she was punished by a witch.
These are a few of the enchanting stories from the novel Willow, Weep No More that fascinated me. The stories are from a group of authors who displayed their creative talents magnificently. I have never heard of any of these fables which originated from different countries, thus was quite impressed with them. Each was unique in their own way, some contained good morals, but they were all very entertaining to read. The authors’ biographies were also interesting, affording me the opportunity to know more about them and the books they have published. Another thing I liked a lot was the attractive cover and nicely sketched illustrations that represented each fable. Willow, Weep No More is a classic book that will appeal to both teenagers and adults.
