Are you planning a fun family vacation soon? Grab a copy of this creative children's book for your kids and surround them with a world filled with imaginative fun. In Where Do Dragons Go on Vacation? Kim Ann explores the numerous entertaining places dragons might want to go while vacationing. I am sure this question might have crossed the minds of young readers at one point or another, and happily, the author entertains their innocent curiosity. The author suggests various new and enjoyable activities for dragons to indulge in with their friends. Most of these activities are similar to what an adventuresome and creative child might like participating in, for example, a visit to the seaside, a trip to a waterfall, or exploring nature. Wherever they decide to go, the dragon friends in this story always enjoy their vacation activities with each other.
I love the innovative theme that Kim Ann explores in this witty, imaginative, and easy-to-read children's book. The author utilizes dragons to encourage children to use their creativity while reading this book. Young readers will enjoy discovering all the hilarious ways dragons might spend their vacation. Each page suggests a unique and fun place or situation where you might spot a group of dragon friends happily engaging in a fun activity together. The illustrations by Nejla Shojaie are colorful and attractive and fit the story perfectly. Each drawing brings out the humor in this upbeat and quirky dragon tale. The main highlight of this book is the fantastic rhyming sequences that the author incorporates into the story. Each sentence is an excellent teaching aid for young children learning to read or for parents assisting their children in expanding their language skills. I highly recommend Where Do Dragons Go on Vacation? to young readers and their parents. Have fun!
