As Harlowe Bishop brings other members of the task force to speed, Kasper wonders about a case he had worked on with Detective West in which a DEA agent ended up being a hitman for the Mexican cartel. Bishop had been asked to form the task force when something came to the attention of the FBI. There had been four murders and two missing persons across state lines, and this caused alarm. Of the four murders, two don't seem to fit the profile; those of Mera and Rayna Anderson. Another thing the team needs to figure out is the role of the prison letters. Do they offer a clue to solving these murders? To find out how things unfold as the team hypothesizes and tries to unravel the mystery, get a copy of When Good Men Fall by Deanna King.
When Good Men Fall by Deanna King has an expertly woven plotline with twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat. Deanna used suspense to great effect, and I couldn't put the book down once I started reading it. The thought-provoking plot got me thinking about the role our upbringing plays in shaping behavior and the importance of cultivating healthy societies in which children can grow into responsible adults. The vivid descriptions helped to create a mental picture of what was happening, and I loved the steady narration that added to the overall appeal. Readers will also appreciate the well-developed and relatable characters. I look forward to reading more by Deanna King.
