In Wheatly's War, an interesting and unique book by Ralph Richardson, readers will follow the story of protagonist Ben Wheatly. Ben has discovered that the government is controlling a new treatment, one that will "cure" aging. The elderly will be young again, and no one else will grow old. But he also finds the government's diabolical plot to use this treatment to recruit people for their own plans to develop a dictatorship, one that they will be able to keep control over with the constant threat of removing the aging cure. Ben and a team that he assembles decide to fight back against the government plot. Total domination and control can't be good for anyone, and they'll do all it takes to prevent the government's aim from becoming their reality.
I very much enjoyed Wheatly's War. Author Ralph Richardson has done a great job in creating interesting and dynamic characters that are exciting to follow. The story line will have readers on the edge of their seats, and will have them obsessively turning the pages from the very start. Any reader who enjoys action, adventure, political intrigue, or a simply great book of fiction should definitely pick up Wheatly's War. I recommend this book to any reader, and certainly hope that author Ralph Richardson is continuing with his work in this vein. I, for one, will keep my eye out for any new work from this highly promising author, and encourage others to do the same!
