Sammy Jo was lonely and wanted a new friend. She was sitting with her parents and gazing at the ocean. They were having fun as they sat on the logs and cooked hot dogs. As she gazed at the waves, Sammy Jo dreamed of a fantastic undersea world. They heard a loud splash and her Daddy thought it might be a shark. Sammy Jo knew she could find out what it was if she was allowed to. The next day as she explored the shore, a stick flew her way. Sammy Jo wondered about it. She ran home with the stick and told her parents there were monsters and sea creatures hiding out there in the ocean. Her parents laughed but Sammy Jo had crazy dreams all night. The next day she packed a small lunch and picked a nice spot under a tree. She heard a splash and a strange noise and Sammy Jo wondered what it might be. What could it be?
