The unique views in the book will be useful when it comes to helping grieving young hearts travel the hard journey to healing. Bryce's life is different since his sister Alanna passed away. They did a lot of things together and now she is only in his memories. Healing needs time and also a little space. The insights shared are helpful in bringing together adults and kids in a space where they are comfortable having a dialogue so that healing becomes easier.
There are many books that speak about dealing with grief but what makes this one different and unique is that it addresses the topic from the perspective of a child. Loved ones who have been lost cannot be brought back and this book is a good tool to make adults understand and realize what children want from them while grieving.
