This was an enjoyable read. Watson truly has talent! From the beginning, it's a book I didn't want to put down! A true page turner! It's a combination of suspense, humor, and romance. Add a mix of quilt and secrets and this is a great plot! The characters compliment each other perfectly. Devon is trying to solve the mystery behind his inherited art gallery's financial crisis, all the while, feeling like the death of his girlfriend and their (or was it really theirs???) unborn child is his fault.
Jayde wants to be the director of the art gallery...she's worked so hard for it. And after all, she WAS promised the job. But is she behind the finance problems at the gallery just so she can get the job? Watson makes Devon and Jayde's characters blend in a witty way while they bump heads and watch each others backs.
This is a book I would certainly put on my book shelf and read again and again! Praises and two thumbs up for Watson's Urban Suspense! Well Done!
