Victoria Saccenti's Undeniable is the second book in her Central Florida Stories Series and focuses on Kurt and Arely’s story. Kurt is a returned war hero who suffers from survivor’s guilt, and Arely is his childhood neighbor turned teacher. The two meet again after Arely is rescued from a human trafficking ring and decides that she doesn’t want her childhood crush on Kurt to remain a fantasy. While these two explore their newfound relationship status, Arely desperately keeps an eye over one shoulder. Do you think their love stands a chance amidst Arely’s troubles? Read on and find out!
Love, love, love! I stick with my statement, I loved Aerly and Kurt’s story; it was beautiful and broken. Both characters have seen a lot of death over the years, but still, they push through the sorrow and choose to live. Undeniable is a BDSM romance novel, with dark themes about kidnapping and human trafficking. For a kinky vanilla-ish girl like me, I still think that the world of BDSM is a little too dark for me. The story has a slow build-up as Victoria Saccenti shows us what both Kurt and Arley are doing before they are reunited again. And once they see each other, literal sparks fly. I also appreciated how Victoria made it a point to say that the world of BDSM is different from fiction. This also leads to one of my favorite Kurt lines: "Be careful, my punishments aren’t what you’ve read in books.” Now, that’s hot! I would 100% recommend this book if you’re looking for your next spicy and dangerous read.
