The plot was unique and the story’s development was superb and realistic. I can relate to being friends with someone for so many years that they lose their appeal for me and I take them for granted. However, I look at them closely one day, and it hits me; this person is gorgeous, smart, accomplished, an Empath, and I’m in love with them. The close shave with George was another learning curve. Greed is a snare and Jo was lucky. I loved Annette’s storytelling style, it engaged me and offered reading satisfaction. Thumbs up to Annette.

She creates characters who are realistic and incredibly fun to read. Luca is very charming, and he knows it. Jo is a special kind of person. She has dreams, aspirations and she is ready to fight for what she wants in her life. The story is realistic, which is something I adore about Annette’s stories. You will never find characters or plot points that are unrealistic and too hard to imagine. I love how Jo and Luca come together, try to find their way back into each other’s lives, and offer support. This is a partnership above all, and that is what makes this story incredible to me.
